The seaside hamlet of Kalamaki is located 5.5 km west of the city of Chania, north of Galatas village. Kalamaki is located between the areas of Agii Apostoloi in the east and Kato Stalos – Agia Marina – Platanias in the west, and offers all the modern comforts with supermarkets, hotels, taverns and cafes.
From Kalamaki and to the east extends the long beach of Agii Apostoloi which is the westernmost of the four beaches of the wider region of Agii Apostoloi.
West of Kalamaki, and less than 1 kilometer away, begins the long beach stretching from Kato Stalos and continues west for several kilometers to Platanias. The whole beach is ideal for swimming as it has been awarded with a “Blue Flag”. Furthermore, there is a large number of coffee shops, bars, hotels, shops and supermarkets.
Nicol’s Estate is 650 meters from the Galata node, at 9 Agiou Dimitriou St. It is 160 meters from the sea and 150 meters from the old national road of Chania to Kissamos. Nearby there are pharmacies, restaurants, tavernas, pizzerias and gas station. There is a bus stop 150 meters away.
